Friday Night Recap - Wyndham Championship
Hello members,
Russell Henley remained in the solo lead after shooting a 4-under 66 to move to 12-under. If he ends up winning, he’ll move into 11th place in the FedEx Cup playoffs standings.
Billy Horschel moved up 14 spots by shooting a career-low 8-under 62 and is now in solo 2nd. With this move, his projected standings for the FedEx Cup playoffs is now 52nd from 116th. Can Billy keep up this pace tomorrow and Sunday?
Another big mover was One Putts pick Brendon Todd. Todd shot a 7-under 63 and is now T3 and only two shots behind. Come on Brendon!
Playoff bubble players Adam Scott, Shane Lowry, and Justin Thomas all made the cut and have to play well the next two rounds to make next week’s tournament.
The cut ended up at 2-under. Some notable players missing the weekend:
