Tournament Recap - WM Phoenix Open
Scottie Scheffler defends his WM Phoenix Open title, moves into the OWGR #1 golfer, shoots 65 today and says that he didn't have his best stuff. Stud. His pre-tournament odds were +1200, and he takes home the $3.6m pay day. These designated events are sweet so far! Stacked leaderboard coming down to the last few holes. Nick Taylor had his first bogey of the day on 16 and follows up with a terrible lip out on 17 to fall out of contention and finish second with a $2.18m pay day. Rahm flirted with the top spot but really dropped his chance when he went in the water on the Par 5 15th. He ended up third and takes home $1.38m. The top five is rounded out by Justin Thomas in fourth and Jason Day in fifth. Rickie played well this week and ended up in a T10 and had an ACE on 7!Onto next week's Geneisis Invitational at Riviera Country Club. Another designated event and stacked field. Oh, and Full Swing premieres next week. What a time in golf. Cheers, everyone!
