Thursday Night Recap - WM Phoenix Open

Whelp, weather strikes again. This time Round 1 couldn't be finished today due to a frost delay. Glad I said weather shouldn't be an issue in my preview edition /s. Classic. Anyways, 68 golfers did not finish their round, which the full morning groups finishing. Tee times should start at 7:15am MST tomorrow, and no frost is in the forecast, but we shall see.

Two Canadians are currently tied at 5-under, Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin. Three are T3, with Xander finishing his round and Jim Herman and Jason Day still yet to finish. Rory struggled a bit today; first time shooting over par in the first round in the last 11 tournaments. Jon Rahm and Max Homa are 3-under with a few holes left to finish. Jordan Spieth an even par 71 and gave us this gem and this one. Rory Sabbatini shot 78, but his real deal is that his clubs live outside his bag!

Weather

Could be a little wind to contend with, but tomorrow should be beautiful. Sun all day and temperatures between 51 and 73.

Updated Betting Odds

Jon Rahm's odds improved to +350 to retain being the favorite. Xander and Homa are close behind at +600 and +850, respectively. But, all of these odds are based on current positions, still a lot of golf left.
