Saturday Night Recap - WM Phoenix Open

$3.6m on the line tomorrow, almost enough to buy a 15 second Super Bowl ad

Saturday Night Recap - WM Phoenix Open

Wild day today with over 200,000 fans in attendance AND we're back on track to only have 18 holes tomorrow.  Tee times start at 10:55am EST and groups will be going off 1 and 10.  The final group of Scottie, Rahm, and Nick Taylor, tees off at 12:45pm EST, which should be plenty of time to finish up before the Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30pm EST.

Winds were a bit of a factor, but scores were still decently low.  Sam Burns shot the low round of Round 3 with a 7-under 64 to move into T11.  Scottie has a 2 shot lead over Nick Taylor and Jon Rahm.  Scottie's new odds are Even with Rahm closely behind at +300.  Jordan Spieth had a great day finishing up his second round with a 63 and third round score of 69.  He's currently T4 and performing at a high consistent level.  Unfortunately, I don't think the Justin Thomas and Patrick Mahomes meetup in Vegas will happen since JT is 6 back at 7-under and T16.  Who knows though, he could go nuts tomorrow and move up the leaderboard.

The streaker was arrested and his mugshot is glorious.  James Hahn was the lone nay vote for "elevated / designated" events and he stands to get paid handsomely this week.  Also, Tiger's announcement got a good reaction out of the pros after their rounds yesterday.

Onto Super Bowl and Final Round Sunday!

Weather

Should be similar to today with some clouds, wind, and temperatures ranging from 48 to 78.
