Saturday Night Recap - WGC Dell Match Play

Down to four - Scottie, Rory, Sam, and Cam.

Saturday Night Recap - WGC Dell Match Play

And, then there were four. Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Sam Burns, and Cameron Young. The semifinals will be Cameron Young vs Rory McIlroy and then Scottie Scheffler vs Sam Burns. We'll see if Sam or Cam can be the spoiler to a Scottie / Rory final.

Rory balled out today. His first match gross score would've been a 62. Also, clearly this shorter driver is working for him, since he's launching it. Scottie is also ballin at this event, again. He is the first player to reach the semifinals three straight years. He finished out his quarterfinal match with a near ace on 17. Cam almost aced no. 11 byhitting it about 25 yards left of the green, off the bank, to roll to about 2 inches. Better to be lucky than good, they say.

The full field for next week's Valero Texas Open was announced.

Weather

Beautiful day in store tomorrow with temperatures ranging from 60 to 82 and some potential cloud cover but mainly sun.
