Hello members,

Fog delayed the first round by over three hours, so a good bit of golfers did not finish their first round. Everyone should be able to finish round 1 and round 2 tomorrow, but that of course depends on pace of play.

Padraig Harrington and Matt Kuchar are towards the top of the leaderboard after firing 68s to be 4-under. Old guys showing up the youngins. Paddy had a saucy flop here to get up and down. And, the Kuchar pick is looking good so far!

Justin Lower is the leader at 5-under with the back 9 to play. Five players are one back at 4-under, including Padraig and Kucher. 82 players are left to finish tomorrow morning.

Rose Zhang is the leader at the Augusta National Women's Amateur.

Weather

Going to be hot tomorrow. High of 92 and low of 62. Wind will also be a factor. Classic Texas.

My pre-tournament picks:

• Matt Kuchar - +1200 - played great today. 4-under 68 and T2.

• Corey Conners - +700 - odds on favorite tonight... 3-under with 9 holes to play.

• Adam Schenk - +25000 - 1-over 73 today and T72. Going to need a strong day tomorrow to make the cut.
