Tournament Roundup - Travelers Championship
Hello members,
From playing putt-putt with his kids last Sunday after missing the cut at the U.S. Open to winning the Travelers Championship and cashing a $3.6m paycheck, Keegan Bradley takes home the title! With his total score of 23-under, he sets a tournament record. It was mentioned approximately ten million times this week that he’s a “local” player. He grew up in Vermont, which is semi-close to Connecticut, so I guess you can say that. It’s his sixth Tour win.
It really was Keegan’s to lose today and he shot a very solid 68 to seal the victory. A few players gave a run, like Rory McIlroy was on 59 watch early after being 5-under through 7 but ended up with only a 64 to end up T7, Zac Blair shot 62 today to move into T2, and Brian Harman shot 64 to end up T2, as well. 2019 champion, Chez Reavie, shot a 71 to drop back to 19-under and ended up in T4.
Moving to Detroit, Michigan for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Cheers, everyone.

It's such a hilarious pro move to have ripped off your fourth birdie in a row and then re-read the putt with your caddie.

Scottie Scheffler still hasn’t finished worse than 12th since October. That’s 16 straight events, including all his elevated events starts and 3 majors. Machine.
