We were on alert today for a 59. Solo leader Denny McCarthy damn near had it but settled for a 60. Will it happen tomorrow?

Thursday Night Recap - Travelers Championship
Hello members,
Scores were low today, as expected. This is typically one of the lowest scoring tournaments of the year. The weather held off for the most part and teh course is ready for birdies.
Solo leader - Denny McCarthy - 60 - almost holed out for Eagle on 18 for a 59
Keegan Bradley - 62
Adam Scott - 62
Scottie Scheffler - 63
Shane Lowry - 64
Chez Reavie - 64
Eric Cole - 64
Rory McIlroy had a rather uninspiring round, with the exception of his first PGA Tour hole-in-one on the Par 3 8th. Hard to believe this is his first career hole-in-one. Clearly he doesn’t really care about it since he threw the ball away lol.
We’re back tomorrow with more low scoring on deck.

🚨PGA TOUR has issued a copyright strike on the Justin Thomas audio / video about marking a ball for Wyndham Clark. It really has nothing to do with the copyright and more so the fact that a viral clip showed one of their players in a negative light

This was Denny McCarthy's 59th shot of the day. It banked off the side of the hill and rolled 3 feet past the cup. Another 1 inch to the right, and he would have holed out for 59. Insane.
