Saturday Night Recap - Travelers Championship
Hello members,
Welp, moving day lived up to its name. Scores were low and there’s a few new names in the top 10. Keegan Bradley shoots 64 to be 21-under for the tournament and the solo leader by one stroke over Chez Reavie. Keegan is the Vegas favorite at -120. Reavie shot 63 today to move up into solo second and four strokes above the solo third place golfer, Patrick Cantlay, who shot 61 today.
Rickie Fowler shot a 60, which is his PGA Tour career low round. He also said he’s broken 60 once, playing against Jon Rahm in Arizona and only beat Rahm by one lol. So low.
Bradley is five strokes ahead of Cantlay. Someone in the top 10 needs to shoot a 60 to 63 to have a chance if Reavie and Bradley struggle tomorrow.
60 for Rickie, his lowest professional round. Ever. 👏

Less chance of rain for tomorrow, only 24%. High of 86, low of 67, with clouds and sun.
Updated Betting Odds
My pre-tournament picks:
Scottie Scheffler - +2000 - bounced back with a 63 today to be T7 but he is 7 strokes behind the leader, so going to need a 60 or lower tomorrow.
Xander Schauffele - +75000 - 67 to be 11-under for the week and in T18 place.
Justin Thomas - +5000 - 62 today! He moved up 25 spots to be T7 and 7 strokes behind the leader.

After Tiger didn't give me a ride home after a tourney and I was in a 6 hour delay, I texted him and said gee thanks for the lift home. I'm in a 6 hour delay and counting. He said "play better". That was it 😳😳

Scottie Scheffler has been ranked number one in the world for a combined 40 weeks.
To catch Tiger's record of combined weeks at number one...
...Scheffler needs to hold the top spot for another 12 years, 4 months and 3 weeks.

Coke Sillinger is a center for the Columbus Blue Jackets. He got an exemption into this wks Canadian Tour event. He shot +25. But his back 9 today epic. Truly a great 40

Rickie’s got a 62 at LACC and a 60 at TPC River Highlands in the past 9 days. That’s gotta be tough to swallow with member-guest szn ahead.
