Saturday Night Recap - Tour Championship

Hello members,

Well, Viktor Hovland is not f-ing around. When everyone else is yelling “fore right” and “fore left”, Viktor was solid all day and didn’t miss a shot to end up with a 4-under 66 to be 20-under. Even the weather delay didn’t deter him, and honestly probably helped since he went back-to-back birdies after the delay. He leads by SIX shots. Vegas has him at -1200, which basically means he’s a lock.

Remove Viktor from the tournament and the rest of the field is in a tight battle. Xander Schauffele is in second at 14-under with Collin Morikawa and Keegan Bradley are in third at 13-under.

I haven’t seen Scottie Scheffler (3-over) struggle this year the way he did today. He had one birdie, which came on the Par 5 18th. He was missing fairways and greens all day.

Final round of the 2023 season tomorrow. Let’s see if anyone can challenge Hovland for the $18m payday.

Hot again tomorrow with a high of 95 and low of 73. 25% change for some weather.

  • Rory McIlroy - +2500 - 1-over 71 today to be 9-under for the week.

  • Jon Rahm - +1100 - it was struggle all day. He seems very frustrated with his game right now. 1-over 71 to be 11-under for the week.

  • Matt Fitzpatrick - +12500 - 1-over 71 today and T11 at 8-under.
