Saturday Night Recap - THE PLAYERS Championship

Scottie is leader in the clubhouse by 2 at 14-under. Big favorite at -275.

Saturday Night Recap - THE PLAYERS Championship

Well, scores were low today, another hole-in-one on 17 (12th all time), and we're back on track for only the fourth round tomorrow! Win, win, win. Scottie Scheffler has a two shot lead at 14-under after his 65 in the third round. That's not enough though, he closed down the range tonight. My bet is he closes this out. His current odds are -275, so Vegas agrees with me.

Tom Hoge broke the course record today with a 10-under 62. Also, get this man a burger or something stat! Colt Knost was one of the previous course record holders and had a great reaction.

Min Woo Lee is in second at 12-under. Cam Davis is third at 10-under. Then, a whole slew of players at 9 and 8-under. Should be in store for a great Sunday!

Weather

Tomorrow should be in the clear, although there is a 15% chance of rain. Temps will be a bit warmer than today between 66 and 83.

Updated Betting Odds

My pre-tournament picks:

  • Jon Rahm - W/D still #sad

  • Justin Thomas - made the cut on the number, now +250000

  • Viktor Hovland - currently +12500
