Saturday Night Recap - The Open Championship
Hello members,
Brian Harman retains his five shot lead by shooting a 2-under 69 today. At this point, he looks unstoppable, even with his shaky start of being 2-over through the first 4 holes. He has made all 44 of his putts under 10 feet. He’ll have to keep up this consistency through tomorrow if he wants to get it done, as some players are moving up the leaderboard quickly.
Speaking of, Jon Rahm shot an 8-under 63 to move into solo 3rd and six strokes behind Harman. Rahm becomes the first player to break 65 at Royal Liverpool in its Open history.
Cameron Young, also, played very well today and is solo 2nd after shooting a 5-under 66. He’s 7-under for the tournament and five strokes behind Harman.
Final Sunday of 2023 majors coming tomorrow. Let’s end on a high note!
