Friday Night Recap - The Memorial Tournament
Hello members,
Scores were a bit lower today. Hideki Matsuyama came out firing with the lowest round of the day 7-under 65 to soar in to solo 2nd. Justin Suh followed up his first round 70 with a 6-under 66 to be the solo leader at 8-under. 2x champ, and One Putts pick this week, Patrick Cantlay is currently two strokes behind and the Vegas favorite at +350.
The cut ended up at +3. Some notables missing the weekend:
Joel Dahmen - +4
Jason Day - +4
Cameron Young - +5
Justin Thomas - +6
Billy Horschel - +12
Speaking of Billy, he was raw with emotion after his 12-over 84 yesterday. It was good seeing him bounce back with an even Par 72 today. Although he won’t be defending his trophy here this weekend, he really showed how the ups and downs with golf can effect even the best golfers. Mad props.

Weather
Moving day will be filled with sun, clouds, highs in the upper 80s and lows in the lower 60s. There is a 21% chance of rain so a cold front is coming through.
Updated Betting Odds
My pre-tournament picks:
Scottie Scheffler - +20000 - made the cut on the number (+3) so you’re sayin’ there’s a chance.
Patrick Cantlay - +350 - Vegas favorite right now and is two shots back from the leader.
Viktor Hovland - +3000 - back-to-back 71s to be T17.
