Friday Night Recap - The Honda Classic
Darkness and slow play strike again. Round 2 has three players left to finish, with two of them on the cut line. A Monday qualifier, Ryan Gerard, is T3 going into the weekend. Let's see if he can keep it up and get a big payday. Good underdog stories abound since the big names skipped this week. Justin Suh leads at 10-under after shooting 66-64. Just a reminder that Justin Suh is a straight up good dude. Round 1 leader, Billy Horschel, had a rough day today shooting 73, but still did the on course interview.
Pierceson Coody is right on the cut line with one single hole to play tomorrow to complete his 2nd round. It would be his first cut made in his first PGA Tour event. His twin brother, Parker, is missing the cut finishing at +10.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational field was announced today. Find the full list here.
Following rounds of 66-64 at The Honda Classic, Justin Suh moves to the clubhouse lead at 10-under 130. His previous-best opening 36-hole score was 133 (2020 Shriners Children’s Open).

Weather
Another classic Florida day in store tomorrow. Sun, some clouds, maybe a rain shower, maybe not and mid-60s to mid-80s with some humidity. Shouldn't really be a factor for scoring.
Updated Betting Odds
Chris Kirk (9-under and in 2nd) is the favorite at +300. Suh is send at +330. Could get some value with Shane Lowry at +1600.

Started the West Coast Swing weighing 178lbs. Today I’m at 166lbs. Forgot how much weight I cut playing 5 weeks straight. Need to remind myself that eating is just as important and practice.
