Saturday Night Recap - Genesis Scottish Open

Hello members,

Rory McIlroy retains his lead by shooting 67 today. He is now 13-under for the week and leads by one stroke over Tom Kim. One Putts pick, Tommy Fleetwood, moved up 26 spots to now be T3 with Brian Harman. Eric Cole moved up 24 spots to be T5 with four other players, including Scottie Scheffler. Nine players are within three shots of the lead, so Sunday could be interesting!

There’s a bit of drama around moving the tee times up again tomorrow. First, it’s Scotland - rain and wind are par for the course (pun intended). Apparently, there is a rumor that this tournament can’t be delayed so the Open Championship next week can be a full week. Also, the passenger train doesn’t arrive until 10:30am with the last tee time starting at 8:57am. Could be a weird morning.

Weather

Windy again tomorrow. Tee times are moved up to avoid some potential bad weather. High of 61 and low of 53.

  • Scottie Scheffler - +800 - T5 and 3 strokes behind. In striking distance!

  • Tommy Fleetwood - +550 - T3 and only 2 strokes behind so absolutely could get it done.

  • Sahith Theegala - n/a - Even for the week and missed the cut. :(
