Tournament Preview - Rocket Mortgage Classic

Hello members,

This week, we move to Detroit, Michigan for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. This tournament typically has some lower scores to win, like around 20-under. Tony Finau is back to defend his championship. Other big names vying for the title this week are Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Rickie Fowler, Hideki Matsuyama, and Keegan Bradley.

Detroit Golf Club had some storm damage earlier this week but it seems the team has cleared it up nicely for the tournament.

LIV continues this week in Spain at Real Club Valderrama.

Onto the birdie fest we go!

Weather

Weather shouldn’t have too too much of an impact this week. Friday through Sunday have some storm chances but the percentages are decently low.

  • Tony Finau - +1400 - think he has a chance to go back-to-back.

  • Justin Suh - +7000 - feel like he has had a great year so far and could end up with a win sooner rather than later.
