Tournament Roundup - RBC Heritage
Hello members,
What a finish! Matt Fitzpatrick and Jordan Spieth ended up in a playoff after posting 17-under for the tournament. Jordan shot 66 to come from behind to make the playoff. Fitzy shot 68. Patrick Cantlay ended at 16-under, Xander Schauffele ended at 15-under, and Sahith Theegala (shot 65 today) and Hayden Buckley were at 14-under.
In the playoff, Jordan had a chance to win and lipped out on the first playoff hole. #heartbreak. On the third playoff hole, Fitzpatrick hit his approach to a few inches. Jordan missed his long putt and Fitzy made his putt to win! Fitzpatrick earns $3.6m. Pretty solid two weeks for him with this win and a T10 at The Masters. Onto next week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Cheers, everyone!
🏆 @MattFitz94 has won @RBC_Heritage!
It's Fitzpatrick's second PGA TOUR win and ninth worldwide.

If you hate the USA! chants after Fitzy’s miss then you might hate sports. Fan interest is a very good thing! It’s nothing personal, they just have their guy they’re rooting for. As long as it doesn’t impact his play, which it’s not, it makes for an electric atmosphere.

Had a great day on the golf course today. Didn’t rush, had fun, plenty of drinks and hot dogs to go around AND we played under 4 hours easily. It take effort to play slow. No reason at all for a round to ever be over 5 hours.
