Rain came in to stop play this afternoon. Round 1 wasn't able to be completely complete but only a few golfers have to finish up tomorrow morning. Before we dive in, it was confirmed how much money Rory is giving up by missing this event... $3,000,000. Whew.

Viktor Hovland came out hot this morning and is currently 7-under after his 64. Netflix star Joel Dahmen earned a well deserved nap after shooting 5-under this morning. Jordan Spieth has come out strong looking to defend his title.

Weather

Still a chance for some rain and storms tomorrow but only 25%. Other than that, beautiful day with temps between 62-75.

My pre-tournament picks:

• Cameron Young - +6600 - not the best start for Cam Young. Hopefully he can turn it around tomorrow.

• Matt Kuchar - +4000 - shot a 3-under 68 today and played really solid.

• Sahith Theegala - +20000 - played out to shoot 1-under 70. Hoping for more birdies to get into contention tomorrow.
