Matt Fitzpatrick shoots an 8-under 63 to take the lead going into Sunday. Patrick Cantlay is one back and Jordan Spieth is two behind. Final round tomorrow!

Saturday Night Recap - RBC Heritage

Hello members,

Matt Fitzpatrick was the main story today. He shoots an 8-under 63 with 22 putts (!) to be 14-under. The round included a hole out Eagle from 149 yards. Also, shoutout to Fitzy for doing what we all learned in junior golf to keep pace of play.

Round 2 leader, Jimmy Walker, played decently well until his back nine. Had some penalties and ended up next to a lip in the bunker. He ended up with a 1-over 72. Patrick Cantlay is one back from Fitzy after shooting 66 today. He also had a pretty epic response to his "slow play" on Twitter with yesterday's hole-in-one. Jordan Spieth shot 66 today, also, and is two shots behind. He has a real chance to defend his title and keep the plaid jacket.

Tomorrow's final round has been moved up to start at 8:30am in threesomes due to the thunderstorms. Sunday golf, here we come!

Weather

Storms could potentially delay things tomorrow. 48% chance with the higher probability in the mid-afternoon. Fingers crossed Round 4 isn't impacted too much.

Updated Betting Odds

My pre-tournament picks:

  • Cameron Young - N/A - never a good sign that Vegas has you at N/A when you made the cut. Either way, he shot a 1-under 70 today. Currently T46.

  • Matt Kuchar - +5000 - 10-under for the tournament and 4 shots back. He's got a chance!

  • Sahith Theegala - +40000 - 4-under 67 today to move to 8-under for the tournament.
