Thursday Night Recap - The Masters
Hello friends,
The leaderboard is stacked! Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, and Brooks Koepka are all 7-under after shooing 65s. Rahm's was a bit more impressive since he started with a double bogey on No. 1 after four putting... yes, you heard that right. Golfers, they're just like us. Viktor played solid all day and didn't miss many shots, except maybe his loud shirt. Brooks is finally healthy and showing he can still be a top player in the world. Everything setting up for a really nice Friday, except the rain that's incoming :(
Tiger Woods shot a 2-over 74 but showed some promise with a few great shots. Phil Mickelson shot 1-under 71. Fred Couples still has it after shooting a 1-under 71.
Other notable players that played well: - Cameron Young - 5-under 67 - Jason Day - 5-under 67 - Scottie Scheffler - 4-under 68 - Shane Lowry - 4-under 68 - Jordan Spieth - 3-under 69 - Justin Rose - 3-under 69 - Justin Thomas - 2-under 70 - Cameron Smith - 2-under 70
Onto Round 2. Tee times have been moved up 30 minutes to account for the rain. Can't wait to sit on the couch and watch golf allllll day.
Finished with a flourish. #themasters

Weather
Rain did not materialize today and conditions were prime for scoring. Can't say the same for tomorrow as storms are heading their way into Augusta.
Updated Betting Odds
My pre-tournament picks:
Scottie Scheffler - currently +500 - defending champ played really solid today even with some putts that didn't fall. Currently, he is 3 shots back and T6.
Jon Rahm - +330 - even with a 4-putt, Jon is tied for the lead and the Vegas favorite.
Cameron Young - +1800 - really solid round and currently T-4.
