Friday Night Recap - John Deere Classic
Hello members,
More birdies today. Some big movers today were Ludvig Aberg, who shot 7-under 64 to move up 20 spots, Lucas Glover, who shot 6-under 65 to move up 32 spots, amateur Michael Thorbjorsen, who shot 8-under to move up 108 spots, and Kevin Streelman, who shot 8-under 63 to move up 80 spots.
The leader is Cameron Young at 13-under. He had an incredible shot from a bunker 63 yards out with a 9 iron. Watch here. That shot is just so hard.
One Putts pick, Adam Schenk, is T2 and one of two players bogey-free through the first 36. Looking really solid to cash at +2500.
The cut ended up at 4-under. The third straight week on Tour with a 4-under cut line. Some notable players missing the weekend:
Nick Taylor - 4-over
Dylan Frittelli - Even
Brandt Snedeker - 1-under
Joel Dahmen - 3-under
LIV London started today with flash mob… yep, you read that right. Cameron Smith shot 8-under to lead by one stroke.
65-64 for Cameron Young 😤
He currently leads by three in the clubhouse @JDCLASSIC.

Weather
Some showers this afternoon and should continue overnight. Course should be a bit softer tomorrow. Rain chance for tomorrow is around 40%. High of 78 and low of 56.
Updated Betting Odds
My pre-tournament picks:
Denny McCarthy - +700 - started the back nine with a double bogey 7 and then finished with seven birdies to end up 10-under for the week.
Adam Schenk - +650 - looking really strong after shooting 66-65. He’s currently two strokes back from the leader.
Eric Cole - +10000 - 4-under 67. 6-under for the tournament. Made the cut but needs more birdies this weekend to get in contention.

11 days ago Peter Kuest was playing a Monday Q for the Rocket Mortgage.
He was staring going back to first stage of Q-school right in the eyes.
Less than 2 weeks later he’s about to become a pga tour member.
Mondays.
