Friday Night Recap - Genesis Scottish Open

Hello members,

Here comes Rory McIlroy! Rory moves into the solo lead at 10-under after going 64-66. If he could make some putts, he’d lead by at least five. He is the Vegas favorite now at +200. Tyrrell Hatton is now T2 after shooting the low round of the day with an 8-under 62. He is tied with Tom Kim and Round 1 leader Byeong Hun An. Speaking of An, he chipped from the green from about 20 feet away. Check it out. 🤔

Today was filled with rain and some wind. The wind should worsen tomorrow but that’s links golf baby!

The cut was 2-under. Notables missing the weekend are below:

Windy tomorrow. Tee times are moved up to between 2-4am EST in threesomes to avoid some of the weather. High of 61 and low of 53.

For those curious what it would cost to play the top 10 USA public golf courses.  🤯🤯🤯
This is without caddie fees/tips and lodging!  The actual cost with travel is likely 2x or 3x this amount.
