Tournament Recap - Genesis Invitational

Jon Rahm gets his 3rd win in 2023 and moves to No. 1 in the world!

Tournament Recap - Genesis Invitational

What a great tournament.  Tiger finishes four competitive rounds for the first time since the 2022 Masters.  Even the espresso machines were in their Sunday red today!  Tiger also made a young girl's day by giving her a signed glove and meeting her! The battle for the title came down to Jon Rahm and Max Homa.  Willy Z gave it a run by shooting a 7-under 64 today but finished a few back.  Rahm was able to get it done, again,!  His third win in 2023 after a 2-under 69 today. He's been just very solid the last 7ish year.  No doubt his bounce of the grandstand to 4 feet for Eagle on Saturday helped him get this win, but he was definitely the best golfer this week.  Maybe this proposed rule would be useful in the future?  Collin Morikawa gave it a run and finished the last 3 holes 4-under going Birdie, Eagle, Birdie.

Rahm takes home $3.6m today and returns to the world No.1.  His pocketbook loves these designated events.  His pre-tournament odds +800.Onto next week's Honda Classic in Florida.  Cheers, everyone!
