Here comes Jon Rahm, go figure
Round 3 Recap - Famers Insurance Open
And, here comes Jon Rahm. He is now the odds on favorite to win at +115 after his 66 today to move to within 2 of the leader, Sam Ryder, at 10-under. Sam shot an even par 72 to remain in the lead. He'll have to have some birdies tomorrow to fend off Rahm. Would be a wild start for Rahm if he can get it done - would be 3 for 3 in wins in 2023. Tony Finau shot 64 to move into 3rd place and has +700 odds to win tomorrow. Could be a good long shot if he can shoot 64 again. CBS had some live in round conversation with Max Homa. Pretty cool development that, personally, I hope continues. Max, Collin, Sungjau Im, and Seehith are T4 at 5 back. The field for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am was announced for next week. Can't wait for the celebs!
“If I win again tomorrow and I don't get to No. 1, at this point I don't care."
Fortunately for Jon Rahm, he won't have to worry about that if he gets a third straight PGA Tour victory on Saturday. bit.ly/3XZDHfi
