Saturday Night Recap - Charles Schwab Challenge
Adam Schenk and Harry Hall are tied at the top at 10-under. Sam Burns is 7 strokes back just like last year... can he do it again?!
Saturday Night Recap - Charles Schwab Challenge
Hello members,
Scores were higher today with 4-under 66 being the lowest shot by Viktor Hovland, Justin Suh, and Paul Haley II. The average score was 71.14 in Round 3 versus Round 1 of 70.2 and Round 2 of 70.23. Adam Schenk shot 3-under to move into a T1 position with the Round 1 and 2 leader, Harry Hall. Schenk birdied 18 to tie the lead. Hall had back-to-back double bogeys on the front and ended up shooting a 2-over 72 today. The leaders are currently 10-under.
One thing to note - last year, Sam Burns was 7 strokes behind going into Round 4 and ended up winning. He is in the same position going into tomorrow so anything can happen. Should be an exciting Sunday! (source)
Mito Pereira leads the LIV event at 9-under with Harold Varner III at 8-under.

Weather
Forecast a bit better for tomorrow than originally thought earlier this week. Highs in the mid-80s and lows in the upper-60s. 35% chance for rain.
Updated Betting Odds
My pre-tournament picks:
Scottie Scheffler - +2200 - retreated a bit today with a 2-over 72. Currently tied for 10th and six strokes back.
Sam Burns - +12500 - another Even par 70 today. T19 and seven strokes behind. Will need a very strong finish with everyone ahead of him mess up if he is going to repeat.
Kurt Kitayama - +250000 - back-to-back 71s and has no chance at twelve strokes behind. Better luck next week.

If you are waiting for a par 5 green to clear with a 3 wood in your hand...
... and the wait is over 15 seconds, your chances of hitting the ball more than 80 yards is 0.0%.
