Saturday Night Recap - AT&T Byron Nelson

Hello members,

Austin Eckroat stormed into the lead after shooting 8-under 63. Pretty good story about how last year he was struggling on the Korn Ferry Tour and now is tied for the lead on the PGA Tour. He is tied at 16-under with Zecheng Dou and Dallas local Ryan Palmer. Dou shot a 64 today and Palmer was in the final group today and carded a 68. Round 3 leader, Scottie Scheffler, dropped down three spots to T4 after shooting an Even Par 71. Come on Scottie! He’s only two strokes back. Need some birdies tomorrow to cash at +375!

Jason Day continued his solid play to move into T4 after a 66 today. It feels like he’s had a resurgence this year and is consistently towards the top. Good to see for the former world No. 1.

Dustin Johnson took the leader in the LIV event in Tulsa after shooting a 7-under 63 today. He may win a pro tournament and have a shank in the same week. Get you a man that can do both.

Another day with potential storms and temps between 81- 68.

Updated Betting Odds

My pre-tournament picks:

  • Scottie Scheffler - +250 - Even Par 71 today to drop down to T4. Still only 2 shots back so definitely still in his hands to take it home.

  • Tom Kim - N/A - T58 so not his tournament to win. Oh well.

  • Eric Cole - N/A - T33 so a very small chance, although Vegas has no odds for him.
