Scottie Scheffler followed up his his 64 yesterday with another 64 today. He is the solo leader at 14-under. Vegas thinks he’s a lock to take it home with his current odds at -185. I know I wouldn’t be mad since he was one of my picks this week!

Round 1 leader S.Y. Noh fell back to Earth today with a 3-over 74. He is now T13 and six shots back from Scottie.

The cut fell at 4-under.

• Ryan Palmer - T2 - 13-under

• Jason Day - T6 - 9-under

• Hideki Matsuyama - T6 - 9-under

• Adam Scott - T13 - 8-under

• Matt Kuchar - T26 - 7-under

Branden Grace leads the LIV event in Tulsa after shooting a bogey-free 9-under 61.

Weather

Rain and storms are in the forecast for tomorrow, with rain overnight and storms in the afternoon. A high of 80 and low of 68.

My pre-tournament picks:

• Scottie Scheffler - -185 - outright solo leader and overwhelming Vegas favorite. Shot 64-64 and is 14-under. Let’s keep it going Scottie!

• Tom Kim - N/A - got his act together today to shoot 5-under and is currently T44, but Vegas doesn’t think he has a chance.

• Eric Cole - +20000 - turning out to be a pretty good sleeper pick. He shot 68 today, is currently T13, and six shots back from the leader at 8-under.
