Saturday Night Recap - Arnold Palmer Invitational

Kitayama stays in the lead, but Scottie, Viktor, Rory, and more are chasing

Saturday Night Recap - Arnold Palmer Invitational

Viktor Hovland was the story today after shooting a bogey free 6-under 66 to move into T2 and one shot back of the leader, Kurt Kitayama. Kurt shot an even par 72 after the front nine 39. Good come back on the back nine to keep the lead. Rory McIlroy is three shots back and is currently +650 to win the tournament. Scottie Scheffler is T2 and the odds on favorite at +225. He's trying to defend his title and Vegas thinks he's going to do it. These elevated / designated events are living up to the hype! Leaderboard is stacked going into tomorrow's final round.

Rory gave praise to a Coody twin - Pierceson to be exact. Coody shot 66 today to move into T7. Two solid weeks for him. One of the guys finishing up their second round this morning had to make par to make the cut. He's a teaching pro in the Orlando area and made par to guarantee at least a $43,000 paycheck.

Weather

Wind, heat, humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms are in store for tomorrow. Could impact the scores and play but hopefully Weather Channel is wrong.
