Round 1 Recap - Arnold Palmer Invitational

Rahm's in first, imagine that.

Round 1 Recap - Arnold Palmer Invitational

Well, well, well, imagine this - Jon Rahm is in first place.  Rahm has been Tiger-esque this year and some stats prove it.  He started with three birdies in a row and ended it eagle, birdie, birdie to shoot a 7-under 65.  He leads by 2 over last week's winner Chris Kirk, Cameron Young, and Kurt Kitayama.  My guy, Adam Schenk, is T5 at 4-under.

Rory had a tough day shooting a 1-over 73.  He, also, was slippin on the greens.  Scottie Scheffler started with a 4-under today and is trying to defend his title, which would be the first since Matt Every in 2015 and Tiger in 2009. Viktor Hovland started with a hole-out Eagle and ended up shooting 1-under 71.

Onto Friday and we'll see how low Rahm goes tomorrow.  Cheers!

Weather

A little wind, heat, humidity, and some potential rain.  We're still in Florida, eh?

Updated Betting Odds

Rahm moves to +135.  Rickie Fowler moves from +5000 to +2800.  Adam Schenk is now +15000 after starting at +30000.
