Tournament Recap - The American Express
Jon Rahm gets it done for the second time this year by shooting a final round 68 to finish at 27-under and beat rookie Davis Thompson by 1 stroke. Thompson parred out the last 7 holes to lose by one. Rahm was the pre-tournament favorite at +650 and took home $1.44m in winnings. Xander had a great day shooting a 10-under 62 to move into a T3 position, with an ALBATROSS. Some pretty low scores on the Stadium Course but does not mean the course wasn't difficult. These guys are just good. Two tournaments of note next week - Farmer's Insurance at Torrey Pines South and Hero Dubai Classic on the DP World Tour. Cheers, everyone!
