Thursday Night Recap - 3M Open

Hello members,

Play was suspended due to inclement weather at 6:59pm CST. 21 golfers remain on the course to finish up Round 1 first thing tomorrow morning.

Lee Hodges came out firing with a bogey-free 8-under 63. He leads by one stroke over Hideki Matsuyama, Brandt Snedeker, Tyler Duncan, and Kevin Streelman.

Great to see Brandt Snedeker back playing high level golf. He had surgery on his sternum in December and took him nine months to make a full comeback on Tour.

PGA Tour Commissioner, Jay Monahan, is back and just released some an update on rolling back the golf ball, Tour loyalty bonuses, and more. Read here.

More golf tomorrow! Happy Friday everyone.

Weather

Storms overnight a bit and another muggy day tomorrow. High of 88 and low of 62.

Updated Betting Odds

My pre-tournament picks:

  • Tony Finau - +1000 - started out 6-under through 8 and then ended at 5-under. T9 so definitely in striking distance.

  • Justin Thomas - +4500 - 2-under and T46.

  • Eric Cole - +15000 - 1-under and T67. Gonna need more birdies to make the cut.
